Hebrews 11 (continued)

These prophets turned away, sinned, and were by all accounts unworthy of the magnificent job entrusted to them. But by who's account, by mans? God loves us all with our faults, knows we turn away at times, knows our weaknesses and still He trusts us to carry out his message. It is true that we put a lot of stock in who we are, e.g. our position at work. Our congressmen, our president, all the way down to our cafeteria lady or trash man. What makes one better than the other? It takes both to make the world function in our day to day and yet we would admit we would not want to be the lowly. Why is that? What makes them lowly? Why do we judge them so when God may see it just the opposite? I pray that we as people stop trying to climb the work ladder and climb the ladder to God. The two shall not meet.
